Alexandra began her career in entertainment, crossing the globe as a producer and director of food, travel, and lifestyle television. Throughout her travels, she developed a keen eye for design and cultural influences that now inform her aesthetic approach. 

Living in a multitude of homes over the years, including a 1930s Connecticut stone cottage, a 1970s Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired modernist home, a 1920s art deco Paris apartment, and a 1950s Los Angeles ranch house exposed her to various finishes, styles and techniques from a multitude of eras. All of these influences converge in her uniquely uptown/downtown aesthetic.
